Its warm in here,
I can see the sun,
Have been chasing shadows as long as I can remember,
come on over and color me RED...

Blinded by the light,
All my thoughts ,
All that I recall,
Now vapourise...

Faded by the dawn,
I can't stop dreamin,
If I call
will you come....

A sound in the silence,
A whisper so thin..
And your name starts burnin,
On the surface of ice..
I left last night,
On my frozen heart..
Now melting away, now melting me down,
Take my hand and carry me....

All the shattered pieces,
That i have carried so far..
Now fall into line, Ignite and burn away...

The ashes spread and visions blur..
Through this nothingness that surrounds me..
come over and color me RED....

Quest for identity

Stop .. Walk.. Stop.. Walk..

This image triggered the emotions that I have been going through for quite some time now.

The questions that i ask are not the ones that can be found in any text or any media, nor can they be put aside for a merry past-time activity, because deep down they consume my very entity when there is life to go around...

Am I free to make choices? If not, then What am I? If yes, then why are there choices to make? What is the whole purpose of my existence ? Why should I strive to act the way I am supposed to? Who sets the rules? Why should i follow them?

Why on earth do I do certain things the way i do them? How on earth do I explain ?

As it is , survival in todays world requires a significant amount of activity, and we struggle for our physical and intellectual existance, it is then out of a abyss comes a call for spirituality.

and then where do you draw the lines between both.

one can strive for excellence where our work involves social activities (and are therefore more rewarding financially), but the fact remains that time spent on essentially surviving is time lost.

And then one can embark on a journey to satisfy his spiritual urges and find himself guilty of social neglection.

the extremes mock you and the middle path is not satisfying either....

I understand the key is to strike perfect balance between all walks of life but then the question Do you chose to Walk or Stop or Walk again........................

google CHROME

The only news doing round at the moment seems to be Google Chrome...

"Google’s new browser will give you their web and email services, photo processing, mapping, office applications that will run in said browser and will make you a cup of tea. This is all paid for by personally-directed text ads in your tea leaves, based on analysing a DNA sample taken when you sip the tea and sending your genetic code back to Google for future targeting. "

18 years after The first web browser - or browser-editor rather - called WorldWideWeb - we now have a daddy of all applications - so much so that the brainy guys working at our beloved Google centre had to come out with a special comic strip to explain the 'Chrome-O -Somes' for the rest of world ( read not so brainy guys)

Scared that i might be left behind in this new fad i installed the "chrome" and guess what ... its all blue.... now, I am not a color freak or something but i have started blaming microsoft for all the blue-blue that i see on my screen ( though i do blame them for everything that i see on my computer screen) still, heck it gives all those Beta-ish feel of a product just been born out of google labs.....

and apart form the emotional reasons what is the need to switch over .... i dont understand this battle at all between market dominance by IE7, FIREFox and now chrome....

I , like million others , enjoy using a simple browsing interface, unclattered by those stubborn widgets, light on my system, and of course potential error free... and i get my dose from Firefox which i keep on updating as and when suggested....

N Chrome is actually a vehicle for Google's applications..A "trojan horse browser" since it integrates Google's other programs, such as Mail, Docs and Spreadsheets as well as Desktop Search, and these run offline using Google Gears, no matter which operating system is in use. Since these Google programs are free of charge, Chrome could give them, and consequently cloud computing, a powerful boost.
Others have already suggested that Google would use Chrome to intrude on their privacy.
Even when Google insists that it collects no personal data, critical observers go on red alert. A data disaster at AOL, resulting in 20 million search queries by 658,000 of its clients becoming public knowledge, made it clear, if it had not been abundantly clear before then, that directly personal information is not necessarily required in order to draw conclusions about users from the queries they make.

I can wait to see where this is leading but till then , from the bottom of my heart...I luv =>

Clean Technology Tower

The concept of “Clean Technology Tower” is brought to you by Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill. This building will be built in Chicago as highly efficient building. They plan to put the wind turbines in each of the corners of the building, to make sure it captures the wind at its highest velocity as it accelerates around the tower.

Building on principles of biomimicry, Clean Technology Tower utilizes advanced technologies and climate-appropriate building systems to foster a symbiotic relationship with its local environment. The tower is sited and formed to harness the power of natural forces at its site- but it refines the conventional methods of capturing those natural forces to significantly increase efficiency. Wind turbines are located at the building’s corners to capture wind at its highest velocity as it accelerates around the tower.

The turbines become increasingly dense as the tower ascends and wind speeds increase. At the apex, where wind speeds are at a maximum, a domed double roof cavity captures air, allowing for a large wind farm and the use of negative pressures to ventilate the interior spaces. The dome itself is shaded by photovoltaic cells that capture the southern sun. These systems provide both comfort and energy to the space.

AIR CARS FOR INDIA IN 2009.

Tata Motors seems to be on an extended fast drive.The Indian carmaker has inked the deal in this regard with with French company MDI to develop a car which runs on compressed air.

According to another industry report, MDI and Tata Motors would work together to develop a new and cost-saving technology for various applications for the Indian market that meets with severe regulations for environmental protection. The new technology is expected to be passed on to other applications too where cost competitiveness and respect for environmental questions go hand in hand, it added.

The Air Car being built by Tata will be the MiniCAT. The three-seater operates on compressed air stored in high-pressure, carbon-composite tanks. MiniCAT is about 8.5 feet long, about the length of a smart car.

Composite Week offers additional details:

--- List price will be about Rs. 350,000 ($ 8177);

--- Range between air tank refillings will be 125-185 miles ( 200-300 kilometers) or 10 hours of driving. (That’s better than many electric cars);

--- MiniCAT’s top speed is 65 miles per hour (105 km/h);

--- Refills at public compressed air refilling stations (yet to be built) will take about 2-3 minutes and cost about 100 rupees, a little over $2. Air compressors could feasibly run on renewables, like wind or solar, for totally emission-free driving;

--- There’s an on-board, electrically-driven from the grid air compressor too, which takes 3-4 hours to refill the tanks;

--- The car has a lightweight aluminum frame that is glued together, not welded. The bodywork is a double skin of foam-injected glass fiber reinforced plastic;

--- To make the car’s wiring system less complex microcontrollers are used with electrical devices in the car: One tiny radio transmitter sends instructions to the lights, indicators etc. to activate them;

--- There’s no key, just an access card that can be read by the car from your pocket;

--- Engine lubrication is vegetable oil which is changed every 30,000 miles (50,000 kilometers);

--- Air conditioning is available which doesn’t require conventional air conditioning equipment. The temperature of the air expelled from the engine is low enough to chill air entering the passenger compartment.

Vocal expressions

Most of the times right words are the toughest things to conjure up , in order to articulate what you feel.. and then in the process you come with syllables, which in turn provide you with a completely new dimension. " The desire to express oneself is truly a remarkable one for it is the desire which liberates. "
